National Skill Training Institute (Women), Allahabad — established in 1992 as the Regional Vocational Training Institute, Allahabad — is one of the premier institutions under the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India, dedicated exclusively to the vocational training of women.
For over three decades, the institute has worked to bridge the gap between skill and opportunity — equipping women with industry-relevant technical training, practical exposure, and the confidence to build independent careers. Our courses under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) and Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) are delivered through the Dual System of Training (DST), ensuring trainees gain hands-on experience directly with partner industries alongside classroom learning. For those seeking to specialize further, our course on Artificial Intelligence Programming Assistant prepares trainees for high-growth technology careers.
Beyond technical skill, NSTI(W), Allahabad is built on the belief that true empowerment comes from combining competence with character. Our training environment nurtures discipline, self-reliance, and value-based growth — shaping not just skilled workers, but confident, capable women ready to contribute to India's workforce and economy.
Located on New Katra Road in Allahabad (Prayagraj), the institute continues to serve as a vital link between industry demand and women's employability, in step with the Government of India's vision for an inclusive, Skilled India.
